My name is Lorents and I am going to be a senior in the fall. Participating in OnWord was a great experience. Prior to joining the OnWord community, I took an online PSEO college course from one of our local universities. It was okay and I'm glad I had the experience, but I liked my experience with OnWord much more. The material was presented clearer. Since I was taking my classes with kids my age, I felt like I fit in versus feeling like I was out of my league. The teachers responded quicker and I also liked having a Course Assistant who worked with us locally. They were able to better help make the material come to life. It was a really great experience and I hope to participate again next year.

I would recommend this class because it does two major things. First you actually talk to people, not to a screen or camera. It also aids in having a more personal interaction, and better feedback is given directly since we are sitting with the rest of the class. The in-person experience is great, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!
