Parent Teams
Our community operates on the premise of robust parent and family support to help OnWord be the place where families eagerly to send their students for advanced classes and engaging community life. Parent involvement keeps our community accountable and affordable for all families. Parent Teams are shared as follows, and your particular unlisted skill set, talent, and/or ongoing resource is also very welcome to our community.
- Community Life: organizing and supporting class trips, fun nights, volunteerism, open gym/recreation, etc.
- Parent Liaison: support communications between partner institutions, course mentors/instructors, robotics team, host facility and students for dynamic interaction
- Curriculum Development: recruiting Christian course mentors/instructors, partnership institution outreach, etc.
- Extracurricular Programming: leading the robotics team, theater and fine arts, and/or other club ideas
- Finance/Fundraising: budgeting, organizing gala/dinner events, individual/business outreach, scholarships
- Marketing and Outreach: maintaining the website, social media, creative materials, etc.
- Communications Office: supporting registration/enrollment, parent volunteer schedule, parent team communications, community communications, etc.
