The mission of OnWord Community is to provide a safe, faith-centered learning environment where students can engage in rigorous academic courses to receive dual credits and extracurricular programming that fosters interdisciplinary skills in a solid Christian community life. 

OnWord Values

We are developing a healthy local homeschool community for families of high school students; these families do not want to study and educate alone. Our classes are a hybrid of online and in-person learning that support essential character development and in-person relationships in our youth. Our community seeks to support advanced academics and additional programming (such as a robotics team) that pose difficulties for participation by individual students and families.

Many high school students are interested in taking college classes because of the challenge, to receive the benefits of lower-priced credits, to support efficiency in classroom time, and to explore career options earlier in high school. OnWord Community recognizes this and is attracting the attention of homeschool parents and students who want a positive and enriching experience with in-person, dual-enrollment classes. Navigating college wisely and realizing the speed of change in our education landscape is of importance to many families of high schoolers. We offer a holistic Christian worldview in the classroom through dynamic Christian mentors and partnering with Christian institutions. We analyze the advancements of independent education systems and changing needs of homeschool parents and families and network through them to develop positive, pertinent solutions. In extracurricular activities OnWord is providing polytechnic ('hands-on) experience and offering cutting-edge education in robotics. We are moving forward to further explore fresh offerings such as performing arts.
